They knew each other since grade school. When they were teenagers in Minnesota, they formed a rock band. They got a record contract with Atlantic Records and had a few Top Ten hits. They toured the country and then the world. They got married and divorced and re-married and divorced again. They each went through the Betty Ford Clinic to dry out from various addictions. They got older and the hits stopped happening and then they were forgotten except on "Oldies" radio stations. They got young girl friends whom they didn't marry. They still, after all they went through, hung out together because deep down, they were like brothers and loved each other more than they could love anyone or anything else. They were getting ready for a comeback.
