It's wierd, but every year about this time the plant life here does a "Jackson Pollack". Colors overlap and layer on top of each other in arrestingly random ways. It's not quite as trippy as, say, Vermont, but in its own way, it's a grand display of seasonal beauty before Winter turns it all to grey.
