We had the clothes we came with, nothing more. We had no furniture, no bedding, no food, no jobs. My cousin helped us get started with this new, strange, life. It is OK. It will be OK. We are alive and we are together and that is the most important thing. We don't have to be afraid all of the time now. We can breathe here. It will be all right. It will be OK.
